One of Australia's most beloved worship leaders and songwriters, Darlene Zschech, has been announced as a special performer at Carols in the Stadium, returning to Central Coast Stadium (Polytec Stadium) on Saturday, 20 December 2025.
Widely known for shaping modern worship music in Australia and around the world, Zschech brings a rich legacy of faith-filled songs that have become staples in churches globally. Her participation adds a deeply meaningful and worship-centered dimension to an evening already set to celebrate the joy, hope, and message of Christmas.
Carols in the Stadium will also feature a special guest appearance by Bella Taylor Smith, winner of The Voice Australia, alongside massed community and school choirs, creating a powerful and unifying night of carols under the stars.
Organised by Churches of the Central Coast, the annual event has become a cherished Christmas tradition, drawing families, churches, and the wider community together for an evening of music, celebration, and generosity. Attendees can enjoy festive food stalls, family-friendly activities, and a candlelit finale that reflects on the true meaning of Christmas.
Gates open at 4:30 PM, with the main program running from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The event is family-friendly and accessible, located just a short walk from Gosford Station.
Carols in the Stadium also encourages guests to support local families in need by bringing non-perishable food items as part of its community outreach initiative.
