During the House of Worship global event on February 1, Martin Smith and Josh Baldwin's rendition of "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" stirred hearts - but the story behind the song made it even more powerful.
Martin Smith, recalling the song's origin, shared an emotional memory from early outreach days in the UK.
"Every summer, we'd rent these dodgy flatbed trucks, set up sound systems, and just go for it. We had a plastic pool down front... kids were getting baptized right there, during worship," he said.
What began as a raw, grassroots outreach became the fertile ground for a song that would travel the globe.
"It wasn't just for the church. We were outside - people were listening from the back of the field. And something touched them," Smith added.
The performance at House of Worship carried that same spirit of openness, revival, and freedom - not confined to a stage, but echoing far beyond it.
