Multi-Grammy Award winner Jelly Roll will officially become a member of the Grand Ole Opry on March 10, marking a milestone moment in the artist's remarkable journey from hardship to country music's highest honor.

Opry member and close friend Lainey Wilson will induct Jelly Roll into the Opry family. The evening will also feature performances from Opry member and longtime friend Craig Morgan, as well as Leanne Morgan, ERNEST and additional special guests.

Jelly Roll was invited to join the Opry during a surprise moment on The Joe Rogan Experience, currently the No. 1 podcast globally across platforms. Host Joe Rogan revealed a special video message from Craig Morgan formally inviting the singer into the Opry family - a full-circle moment that deeply moved the country star.

The BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville/Republic recording artist made his Opry debut on November 9, 2021. Since then, he has become both a fan favorite and a respected presence among fellow members. Jelly Roll has appeared on the Opry stage numerous times, mentored emerging artists through the Opry NextStage program, and hosted Opry NextStage Live shows in Texas.

His connection with Craig Morgan traces back years earlier. Freshly released from prison, Jelly Roll once sat in the Opry audience as Morgan performed "Almost Home," a moment he has described as life-changing. Years later, Morgan surprised him on the Opry stage, joining him for a duet of "Almost Home." To commemorate the moment, Morgan presented Jelly Roll with handwritten, autographed framed lyrics of the song - symbolizing the redemptive arc of his journey.

Jelly Roll's induction follows a historic 2026 Grammy Awards season in which he won every category for which he was nominated. His honors included Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Hard Fought Hallelujah" with Brandon Lake, Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Amen" with Shaboozey, and Best Contemporary Country Album for his sophomore project Beautifully Broken. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and features the multi-week No. 1, Grammy-nominated single "I Am Not Okay."

Raised in Antioch, Tennessee, Jelly Roll has become one of the most compelling voices in modern country and Christian music. His debut country album, Whitsitt Chapel, marked the biggest country debut of its release year and further cemented his crossover impact across genres.

The induction ceremony is part of the Opry's 100th anniversary celebration in 2026. Upcoming Opry 100 events include a special performance at Carnegie Hall on March 20 and themed Opry 100 Honors shows, including "Opry 100 Honors Little Jimmy Dickens" on March 21, along with additional commemorative programming throughout the year.
