Christian artist Ben Fuller created a powerful and personal moment of worship and testimony this Easter weekend, proposing to his girlfriend Peyton during a live Good Friday event at FaithFest's "Easter at the Cross."
The proposal took place at the FaithFest Events Complex in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, where Fuller was the featured artist for the free Good Friday gathering. The event drew a large crowd for a night centered on worship, reflection, and the message of the cross.
Fuller, who is currently touring with Band Reeves on The Black Sheep Tour, paused during his set to share openly about his past struggles and the transforming power of faith. Speaking candidly to the audience, he reflected on a life marked by battles with addiction, commitment, and personal brokenness.
"But it's okay to struggle, and that's why we're here... we've all come to this cross to lay it all down," Fuller told the crowd. "I've always struggled my whole life... with drugs and alcohol and running away and all the things."

"And so it's time to stop running," he said, before inviting Peyton to join him on stage.
Kneeling before her in front of the crowd, Fuller asked the question that brought an eruption of cheers: "Will you marry me?" Peyton, visibly emotional, responded with an immediate and joyful "Yes."

"Minutes later we were face to face backstage," Fuller wrote. "We've been talking and laughing ever since... Thank you for always pointing me back to Jesus when I'm weary and weak, and I promise to always do the same for you."
