A Coachella debut. A chart milestone. A new EP on the way. KATSEYE is on a run.
KATSEYE just made history in the UK - and they did it the hard way, one chart entry at a time.
On April 17, the Official Charts announced that KATSEYE's new single "PINKY UP" debuted at No. 14 on the UK Official Singles Chart - not only the highest new entry of the week, but also the group's highest-ever UK chart position.
It's a milestone worth putting in perspective. Their previous UK personal best was "Internet Girl," which debuted at No. 24 earlier this year. Before that, "Gabriela" peaked at No. 38, and "Gnarly" at No. 52. Every single has climbed higher than the last. The trajectory is impossible to ignore.
The chart debut came on the back of KATSEYE's Coachella performance at the Sahara Stage, where the group performed as a five-member unit amid member Manon's hiatus, a set that quickly went viral and amplified the single's release.
"PINKY UP" was released on April 9, written by David Wilson, Justin Tranter, Magsy, Sorana, and Skyler Stonestreet, and produced by "Hitman" Bang, Dwilly, and Frants. The music video, directed by Bardia Zeinali, was filmed without Manon - marking the group's first visual as a quintet.
And the momentum isn't slowing down. "PINKY UP" is the lead single off KATSEYE's upcoming third EP WILD, set for release on August 14, 2026 via HYBE x Geffen Records - the follow-up to their Grammy-nominated EP Beautiful Chaos, which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200.
Beyond the EP, KATSEYE will headline the Head In The Clouds and Hinterland Music festivals and perform at The Governors Ball in New York this June.
For a group still building their story in real time, "PINKY UP" at No. 14 in the UK is more than a chart stat - it's proof that the climb is very much still happening. A group rooted in perseverance, authenticity, and community, KATSEYE's rise is a reminder that steady faithfulness to your craft will always find its audience.
WILD drops August 14, 2026.
