Chart-topping bluegrass gospel group Chosen Road will release their first full-length album in three years, American Morning, on July 3 via Thoroughbred Records.
The 12-song collection brings together selections from the group's 2026 EPs American Morning: Side A and American Morning: Side B, along with the newly recorded closing track "I Love This Land." Blending bluegrass, roots, gospel, and Americana influences, the album celebrates faith, family, freedom, and the values that have shaped generations of Americans.
Produced by Dave Clark and executive produced by Chosen Road founding member Jonathan Buckner, American Morning features songs that honor veterans, celebrate spiritual heritage, and reflect on the everyday blessings of life in America. Highlights include "People," "Life In America," "First Greatest Wonder," "A God Thing," "'Til They Came Home," "Daddy Was A Navy Man," and "Dreaming in Red, White, and Blue."
"The songs on American Morning celebrate the sacrifices that secured our freedom, the families that built this nation, and the faith that has sustained generations of Americans through every trial and triumph," Buckner shares. "It's one of the most personal records we've ever made because it comes from a place of conviction."
Buckner adds, "More than anything, we hope these songs remind people to be thankful for the freedoms we enjoy, the families we cherish, and the God who has blessed this nation from generation to generation."
Ed Leonard, president of Daywind Music Group, says the label is excited for the album's release. "Jonathan and the guys have created a great record that not only celebrates this great land we call America, but they have also given us songs that celebrate our Savior," he says. "I hope this will be an album many will listen to for years to come."
Chosen Road has earned two Billboard #1 bluegrass albums with 2023's It Never Gets Old and 2022's Appalachian Christmas. Founded in the mountains of West Virginia nearly two decades ago, the group has become one of Christian music's leading roots ensembles, known for its traditional bluegrass sound shaped by gospel, country, and Americana influences.
Comprised of Jonathan Buckner, Zach Alvis, Tyler Robertson, Chris Stockwell, and Bradly Parsons, Chosen Road continues to perform at churches, festivals, and concert halls across the country with a mission to honor Christ, strengthen families, and offer hope.
