We The Kingdom is releasing Everything I Thought Was Pleasure (Unplugged), a stripped-back acoustic version of their June album, out this Friday, July 12. The project reworks songs from the original seven-track record, including "So Good," "Glory Glory" (originally featuring Crowder), "God's Way," and "Lake of Fire."

The band shared that hearing the songs pared down brought new depth to their meaning. "These songs have always come from honest places, but hearing them stripped back reveals something even deeper," We The Kingdom wrote in announcing the release. "We hope these versions remind you that God meets us in the searching, the questions, and every season along the way."

The original Everything I Thought Was Pleasure, released June 12 via Capitol Christian Music Group's Sparrow label, wrestled with the tension between fleeting pleasure and lasting fulfillment, with the band describing it as their "most honest record yet." The album followed the group's ongoing exploration of surrender and grace, themes carried through tracks like "Pray" and "Love Is Louder."

We The Kingdom, known for hits including "Holy Water," "God So Loved," and "Jesus Does," previously took a similar unplugged approach with their 2026 EP Dear Jesus (Unplugged). Everything I Thought Was Pleasure (Unplugged) will be available on all streaming platforms Friday.
