Cory Asbury released "Only Ever" this past Friday, July 17, the third single from his upcoming album "Outsing the Angels," due September 18. Announcing the song on Facebook, Asbury kept his caption simple and direct: "It's only ever been about You, Jesus."

The post included photos from recent tour stops - Asbury has spent the summer on the road as part of Forrest Frank's Jesus Generation Tour alongside Tori Kelly and The Figs - with images capturing worship moments under a lit stage cross and warm exchanges with fans and fellow artists between shows.

"Only Ever" follows the title track "Outsing the Angels" and second single "Holy God," both of which mark Asbury's return to worship music after a five-year departure that included an unfinished country album. Asbury has been open about that season, crediting a candid conversation with fellow artist Forrest Frank as the turning point that brought him back to his calling.

Known best for "Reckless Love" - the triple-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated worship anthem that spent 18 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart - Asbury has described his new album as a "call to outlandish, unruly worship." "Only Ever" continues that thread with a quieter, more intimate focus, stripping the message back to its simplest form: total devotion to Jesus, without qualification.

The Jesus Generation Tour continues through early August, with upcoming stops in Cincinnati, Louisville, Austin, and Arlington, Texas.
