KATSEYE has confirmed that Manon Bannerman appears in the group's upcoming theatrical documentary, "KATSEYE: Wild Hearts," even though she remains on an official hiatus from the group.

The film, which hits limited theaters worldwide on August 12, features Bannerman in several brief moments despite her stepping back from group activities in February 2026 to focus on her health and wellbeing. Members Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung addressed her presence in the documentary directly in recent interviews, with the group calling it an important part of telling their full story.

Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Nadia Hallgren, "Wild Hearts" is billed as a love letter to the group's fanbase, known as EYEKONS, and picks up where Netflix's "Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE" left off. The documentary traces the group's rapid rise since forming through the 2023 reality competition "Dream Academy," a joint project between HYBE and Geffen Records, including their Grammy nominations for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best New Artist.

The documentary's release is closely timed to the group's next chapter. Two days after "Wild Hearts" premieres, KATSEYE will release its third EP, "Wild," on August 14. The group is also set to make its late-night television debut on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and will kick off "The Wildworld Tour" in September.

Tickets for "KATSEYE: Wild Hearts" are available now through the film's official website, though as of publication there's no confirmed streaming date for fans hoping to watch from home.
