Former American Idol finalist Scott MacIntyre is taking audiences on a musical journey through Croatia with the release of Live in Croatia, a new full-length visual album now available on YouTube.
The project combines a complete live concert with cinematic footage from MacIntyre's 11-day journey through Croatia, blending music, travel and his message of faith, perseverance and hope.
Recorded in Split, the concert was staged at the historic Peristyle, a roughly 1,700-year-old Roman square that draws visitors from around the world. MacIntyre performed familiar songs alongside his original music and personal stories, eventually sharing his own journey of faith with the international audience.
Beyond the concert, Live in Croatia captures the beauty of the country's Adriatic coastline, historic locations and meaningful moments from MacIntyre's ministry travels. The visual album is designed to feel like both a concert film and a travel experience, highlighting the people and connections he encountered along the way.
"Some of my favorite memories from Croatia weren't on stage," MacIntyre said, reflecting on the conversations, friendships and opportunities to share hope that came from the trip.
The concert opens with recognizable songs associated with artists including Billy Joel and Bruce Hornsby, which helped attract passersby to the historic square, before moving into MacIntyre's original music and personal testimony.
MacIntyre rose to international attention as a finalist on Season 8 of American Idol, making history as the show's first blind finalist. Since then, he has continued his career as a recording artist, inspirational speaker and author, sharing messages centered on perseverance, faith and hope.
He and his wife, Christina, are also featured in the television special Enduring Hope, which has reached more than 1.5 million viewers worldwide and has aired across TBN Inspire, ION Television, FOX affiliates, and NBC affiliates.
