Perez Hilton is making a dramatic break with Las Vegas, slashing $350,000 from the price of his sprawling mansion as his family deals with the aftermath of a frightening incident at his new Miami home.
The 48-year-old celebrity blogger originally listed the six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom Nevada property for $4.25 million in June. The asking price has now fallen to $3.9 million as Hilton reportedly seeks to cut his remaining real estate ties to Las Vegas and establish a permanent home in Miami with his three children and his mother.
But the eye-catching price reduction is not the only reason Hilton is making headlines. The change came shortly after his family publicly pleaded with fans and curious onlookers to stop gathering outside his Miami residence following a distressing livestream that reportedly prompted multiple calls to police and requests for a welfare check.
Police ultimately transported Hilton to a nearby hospital, while mental health professionals and a Crisis Response Unit offered assistance to his loved ones. His family later said that he was receiving medical care and was able to communicate.
According to a statement published on Hilton's website, his children, niece and sister were inside the Miami home before the incident unfolded. When relatives reportedly realized that he was experiencing a severe mental health crisis and harming himself, they removed the children to protect them from witnessing further trauma.
The family said its immediate priority was helping the children recover from what they had experienced. It also stressed that privacy around the Miami property was essential if the children were to return to a familiar and secure environment.
Meanwhile, Hilton's glamorous former home remains on the market. The approximately 7,000-square-foot mansion sits on an acre in Prado, an exclusive gated Las Vegas community containing fewer than 20 homes. The property features six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, expansive glass walls, a resort-style swimming pool, a spa, landscaped outdoor areas and a separate casita.
Hilton previously described the mansion as an important part of both his family life and his career. He filmed television appearances, documentaries, livestreams and social-media commentary throughout the house, frequently using its luxurious interior and outdoor spaces as backdrops.
The home was also specially configured for Hilton's mother, who has played a significant role in raising his children. Her private suite includes its own entrance, living room and kitchenette, allowing her to remain close to the family while maintaining an independent space.
Although Hilton spoke warmly about his years in Nevada, he said moving closer to relatives felt like the only appropriate decision for his family. The mansion is being marketed by Kathryn Winterton of Las Vegas Sotheby's International Realty.
The timing of the substantial price cut will inevitably fuel questions about how urgently Hilton wants to complete his move. Yet behind the celebrity property drama is a family asking for space during an intensely vulnerable moment. Whatever opinions people may hold about the outspoken gossip personality, this is a time for compassion, prayer and respect-especially for the children caught in the middle of a very public crisis.
