Porter’s Call Celebrates 25 Years and Honors Amy Grant at Evening of Stories

Porter's Call marked a major milestone as the nonprofit celebrated 25 years of serving recording artists during its annual Evening of Stories fundraiser in Nashville.

Held September 1 at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, the special gathering brought together artists and members of the music community for an evening of music, personal stories, and generosity. Presented by The Cook Family Foundation, the event raised $860,427, surpassing its fundraising goal by 40 percent.

One of the evening's highlights was the presentation of the Founder's Award to six-time GRAMMY® Award winner Amy Grant. The honor recognizes individuals whose lives reflect Porter's Call's commitment to hospitality, compassion, and generosity.

Grant was celebrated with a special tribute featuring Natalie Hemby, Ellie Holcomb, and Hillary Scott. Lady A also performed during the memorable evening, which was hosted by Dave Barnes and Melinda Doolittle.

Founded in 2001, Porter's Call provides free and confidential care and support for recording artists and their partners. Its services include one-on-one sessions, couples and band support, retreats, and workshops designed to address the unique emotional, mental, and creative challenges faced by artists.

Over the past 25 years, the Nashville-based nonprofit has become an important source of support within the music community, offering artists a safe and confidential place to receive encouragement and care.
