Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will carry out their first joint engagement since returning to live in the UK in August, according to media reports. The couple will visit Nottingham on Thursday, Oct. 15.
The city has history for them. It is where they made their first joint appearance after announcing their engagement in 2017.
During the visit, they are expected to take part in a food bank and catch up with women Meghan worked with at the Hubb Community Kitchen. They are also expected to see the Community Recording Studio, which was designed to help young people affected by violence. The trip is expected to end at Epic Partners, a community charity focused on youth services, sports programs and mentoring. An acting workshop is also reportedly planned.
The visit is not an official royal engagement. The couple stepped away from royal duties six years ago and remain non-working royals.
A friend of the couple said Nottingham is a special place for them and that they are looking forward to getting back into the community together.
