Robert Kelker-Kelly’s Final Hours: Police Report Reveals Heartbreaking Details Before Soap Star’s Death At 62

A drive home from the airport became the beginning of Robert Kelker-Kelly's final evening, according to police-report coverage detailing the "Days of Our Lives" actor's sudden death. The performer, remembered by daytime television viewers as Bo Brady, died at his Missouri home on October 3 at age 62.

According to a St. Peters Police Department report obtained by Us Weekly, his wife, Allison Kelly, collected him from Spirit Airport around 7:30 p.m. During their journey home, Kelker-Kelly complained of pain in his chest and left arm and asked her to stop the vehicle because he needed to vomit. Allison asked whether he needed a hospital, but he declined and requested to go home to lie down.

The report describes a devastating sequence after they arrived. Still experiencing pain, Kelker-Kelly asked his wife to get him an aspirin. When she returned to the bedroom, she found him unresponsive and not breathing. She called 911 and began CPR, but emergency responders were unable to save him. He was pronounced dead at 9:09 p.m., PEOPLE reported.

Authorities have said they found nothing suspicious at the scene. A police spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly that the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event, while explaining that officers and emergency medical personnel had attempted lifesaving measures.

The latest articles revisit a death announced earlier this month. Although PEOPLE published its account on October 15, Page Six had reported details from the police report on October 13. The additional coverage provides a fuller account of the evening rather than announcing a new death.

Kelker-Kelly's career connected him with several generations of soap viewers. He began playing Sam Fowler on "Another World" in 1987 before becoming Bo Brady on "Days of Our Lives" in 1992. He later portrayed Stavros Cassadine on "General Hospital," adding another prominent daytime role to his television résumé.
