KATSEYE's Detroit concert has been postponed, not canceled. The sold-out show at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 3, was to be the group's Michigan debut, but venue officials announced the postponement just before 7:30 p.m., with fans already inside and the show set to start at 8.
The group said on Instagram that Megan was unwell and unable to perform, and that she needs time to rest and recover. The illness has not been specified. KATSEYE also said they were incredibly disappointed and sorry for the inconvenience to fans who had traveled for the show.
Fans are being asked to hold onto their tickets, which will be valid at the makeup date, which has not been announced. The arena says ticket holders will receive an email with more information.
No new Detroit date has been set. The North American leg of the Wildworld Tour kicked off Oct. 13 and runs through Nov. 28. We will update this story when a new date is announced.
We wish Megan a full and quick recovery.
