Rhett Walker Band Announces Fall 'Come To The River Tour,' With All Things New And Rush Of Fools
Rhett Walker Band announced that, this fall, they will be heading out on their 'Come To The River Tour,' with special guests Rush Of Fools and All Things New.
The 'Come To The River Tour,' will set out at the end of September in order to promote Rhett Walker Band's most recent album, which was released on July 6, 2012. The title track and single, 'When Mercy Found Me,' off of the recent album have seen a great deal of success since its release.
Rush of Fools will be bringing a bit of a different musical style to the table during the tour with a much more rock music type feel than the other two groups. Their last album was their 2011 release, 'We Once Were,' featuring their popular song, 'Grace Found Me.'
All Things New, is the youngest of the three bands, having released their self-titled debut album in April of this year. The band has seen a great deal of success since the release of their debut album, particularly with their song, 'New Man,' which proves to be a personal anthem for lead singer, Garrett Hornbuckle. The song reflects on Hornbuckle's journey to find himself through the love and acceptance that he received in the eyes of God, despite the struggles that he faced in his relationship with his own father.
The 'Come To The River Tour' is bound to combine these three Christian groups from different musical backgrounds and different walks of life in a way that will impact a very diverse audience, communicating through their common passion for God and the message of the Gospel.
On July 22, Rhett Walker Band tweeted, "COME TO THE RIVER TOUR is coming to SELECT cities this Fall with our friends @therealFools & @ATNmusic. Get there!" All Things New also tweeted, "We are excited to announce that we will be going out on tour with @rhettwalkerband and @therealFools in the Fall!"
