Gospel/Jazz instrumentalist Ben Tankard won his first Stellar Gospel Music Award as New Artist of The Year in 1989. Tankard took home the honor for Best Instrumental CD of the Year for his FULL TANK 2.0 album. Thousands gathered at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on February 20 to experience the live taping of gospel music's highest honors. The 31st Annual Stellar Awards Show will air internationally on TVOne March 6-10 (check local listings for times).Tankard released FULL TANK 2.0 on his own BEN-Jamin' Universal Music label and has earned multiple gold/platinum records as well as a wall of Stellar, Dove, and Grammy awards and nominations for his soulful, classic and SmoothJazz artistry.
