Two-time Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee and one of Christian music's most beloved voices for more than five decades, Janet Paschal triumphantly returns with "In The Fire." Her first new single in 15 years, the long-awaited release also marks her debut with StowTown Records and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Produced by Wayne Haun (Celine Dion, Jason Crabb) and co-written by Paschal, Haun and Joel Lindsey, the deeply personal anthem reflects God's sustaining presence through life's fiercest trials. Anchored by the warmth and unmistakable resonance of Paschal's signature vocal style, the song draws inspiration from her own journey as a breast cancer survivor.

"I felt Him in a melody / That stirred my heart's desire / But I never really knew Him / Until I met Him in the fire."

"It is beyond exciting to return to the studio with Wayne and to partner with the amazing folks at StowTown," Paschal shares. "God is definitely up to something!"

"When someone told me it had been over a decade since I'd been in the studio with Janet, I thought they were joking," adds Haun. "But we picked right up where we left off 16 years ago. Her voice is as beautiful as ever. And as the old saying goes, you truly can't make old friends."

Paschal and Haun-longtime collaborators-are currently completing her full-length StowTown Records debut. "In The Fire" will be featured on the highly anticipated album, Paschal's first all-new project since 2015's Beginnings, slated for release later this year.

Among the most venerated female vocalists in Christian music, Janet Paschal is a distinguished two-time Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee as both a solo artist and as a member of The Nelons. Known for timeless hits including "Another Soldier's Coming Home," "God Will Make A Way," and "The Body and Blood," the GRAMMY® and Dove Award-nominated artist has released 16 solo albums spanning Gospel, Inspirational and Southern Gospel styles.

A member of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, Paschal has performed at world-renowned venues including Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Sydney Opera House. For more than three decades, she has been a cherished presence on the popular Gaither Homecoming videos and concert tours.

Beginning her career at 18 with The LeFevres-which later became The Rex Nelon Singers and eventually The Nelons-Paschal also toured internationally with Jimmy Swaggart Ministries before launching her celebrated solo career. She is also an accomplished songwriter and author of The Good Road and the autobiographical Treasures of the Snow.
