Christian singer-songwriter Forrest Frank is standing firm in his faith after revealing he lost approximately 30,000 social media followers following a recent post referencing the late Charlie Kirk and declaring "Jesus Christ is Lord."
In an Instagram video addressing the response, Frank stated plainly, "Thirty-thousand people unfollowed me because I posted about Charlie Kirk and I said that Jesus Christ is Lord... Good." He went on to emphasize that his mission is not centered on popularity, streaming numbers, or ticket sales, but on boldly sharing his faith.
"I don't want you to follow me. I don't want you to track my music. I don't want you to come to my shows... if you don't do this one thing, and that is, follow Jesus Christ," Frank said. He encouraged viewers to examine their hearts and described his platform as a space that will prioritize spiritual conviction over cultural approval.
Frank's original post included a clip of Kirk speaking about what he described as a growing surge of Christian interest among Gen Z, praising contemporary Christian music - including Frank's - for its biblical themes and spiritual impact. In response, Frank said he felt compelled to strip away distractions and "speak my mind to the core."
In a follow-up message, Frank added that follower counts "do not matter" to him and acknowledged that he is recommitting his platform fully to sharing his faith. "I repent for ways I've allowed my platform to be a lukewarm highlight reel," he said. "I have nothing else to share but this one message."
The "God Is Good" singer concluded by pledging to focus his energy on what he calls "the only thing that matters," encouraging listeners with the phrase, "Let's make heaven crowded."
Frank's statements have sparked widespread discussion across social media, highlighting the intersection of faith, culture, and public platforms in today's digital landscape. Despite the loss of followers, the artist remains steadfast in his mission to use his voice - both musically and personally - to point people toward Christ.
