G.L.O God's Love Only isn't holding back.

With her new Christian Hip-Hop single, "Stop Playing Church," now impacting Christian radio, the artist delivers one of the most unapologetic messages heard in the genre this year - and it's aimed directly at the Church.

Written by Kim Ruiz and produced by Alex "Ace1" Espinoza, the track opens with a clear warning: "Listen up, listen up... Play time's over." From that moment forward, there's no mistaking the tone. This isn't background music for Sunday service - it's a spiritual alarm clock.

Built on hard-hitting bass and sharp hi-hats, the production balances groove with gravity. But it's the lyrics that cut deepest.

"Got the nerve to say the presence of the Lord's up in this place, when Monday through Saturday we show the back and not the face," G.L.O raps, confronting what she sees as a growing gap between proclamation and practice. The repeated hook - "Stop playing Church, God ain't playing games with ya" - lands less like a chorus and more like a conviction.

According to G.L.O, the song was birthed from observing what she believes is a shift in biblical principles within modern church culture. Platforms over presence. Performance over purity. Entertainment over encounter.

Rather than softening the message, she leans in.

"Got stages in the Church, entertainment is the new doctrine," she declares, challenging believers to examine whether they are reflecting culture - or reflecting Christ.

Yet beneath the boldness is a clear sense of calling. G.L.O has shared that she felt compelled to release this message in obedience, even if it stirs discomfort. For her, silence was not an option.

Musically engaging but spiritually confrontational, "Stop Playing Church" refuses to let listeners remain passive. It calls for repentance, authenticity, and a return to the Gospel.

In a time when faith can easily become performance, G.L.O isn't trying to entertain the Church.

She's trying to awaken it.
