Pepsi has officially withdrawn its sponsorship from Wireless Festival following backlash surrounding the booking of Ye as the headline act for all three nights of the event.
The beverage giant, which had partnered with the festival for more than a decade, stepped away after criticism emerged from public leaders and community organizations. Among those voicing concern were Keir Starmer and Sadiq Khan, along with the Jewish Leadership Council, citing concerns tied to Ye's past controversies.
Despite the sponsor's exit, Wireless Festival organizers are proceeding with plans for Ye to headline the July event. The artist recently returned to the stage in the United States with two sold-out performances at SoFi Stadium, supporting his latest album Bully, and is also scheduled for additional international appearances, including a show in Italy.
