Vanessa Trump has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, sharing an emotional message of gratitude, faith, and hope as she begins treatment surrounded by family support.
The 48-year-old announced the diagnosis Wednesday in a heartfelt social media post, explaining that she is currently working closely with doctors on a treatment plan following a recent medical procedure earlier this week.
"I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of family, my kids, and those closest to me," Vanessa wrote. "Thank you for your kindness and support. It truly means more than I can express."
She also asked the public for privacy as she focuses on her recovery journey.
Following the announcement, tributes and prayers quickly poured in from supporters and members of the Trump family, including Ivanka Trump, who shared an emotional public response.
"Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery," Ivanka wrote. "Love you, mama."
Vanessa Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr. for more than 12 years before the couple divorced in 2018. Despite their separation, Vanessa has reportedly remained close with the broader Trump family and continues co-parenting the couple's five children.
The former model and mother of five first met Donald Trump Jr. in 2003 after being introduced by Donald Trump at a fashion event.
The pair married in 2005 at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida and went on to raise five children together: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.
Vanessa largely stepped away from public attention following the divorce, focusing primarily on raising her children and maintaining a more private lifestyle. Her announcement this week, however, has drawn national attention as supporters across social media rally around her with messages of encouragement and prayer.
The news also comes amid increasing public conversations surrounding breast cancer awareness, early detection, treatment journeys, and the emotional toll serious health battles place on families.
At this stage, Vanessa Trump has not publicly shared additional details regarding the severity or stage of the diagnosis.
For now, family members say the focus remains on treatment, recovery, and surrounding her with support during what is expected to be a difficult season ahead.
