Olivia Rodrigo pulled off one of the most talked-about surprises of the festival season - and revealed a long-kept secret in the process.
The pop star made an unannounced appearance at Primavera Sound 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, where she premiered "What's Wrong With Me" - a duet with The Cure's Robert Smith, taken from the second act of her upcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
"It's really special to me for so many reasons, primarily because it's the first song I've ever had a feature on," Rodrigo told the crowd before bringing Smith on stage, adding: "I can't believe this song exists with the person that it exists with. I'm just so over the moon."
The new track lands at number 10 on the album and is part of its second act, titled "You Seem Pretty Sad." The first act, "Girl So In Love," includes her previously released single "Drop Dead."
It was not the first time the two have shared a stage - they previously performed The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" and "Friday I'm in Love" together at Glastonbury last summer.
The full album arrives Friday, June 19.
For fans who've watched Rodrigo grow from a Disney Channel actress into one of her generation's most honest voices, the choice to collaborate with a songwriter known for music that speaks to grief, longing, and the search for meaning feels anything but accidental.
