The FIFA World Cup 2026 officially has its anthem - and the lineup behind it is nothing short of extraordinary.
FIFA released "DNA," the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Anthem, on June 10, featuring legendary Italian tenor Maestro Andrea Bocelli, global DJ and producer David Guetta, three-time Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion, and EJAE - the Academy Award, Grammy, and Golden Globe-winning Korean-American singer-songwriter who swept the awards season earlier this year for her song "Golden" from the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters.
The track is out now on all major streaming platforms via SALXCO UAM/Def Jam Recordings.
Built around the lyric "It's more than just a game, it's our DNA," the anthem blends Bocelli's soaring classical vocals, Guetta's signature electronic production, Megan Thee Stallion's rap verses, and EJAE's emotive Korean-language delivery - a collision of genres and generations that mirrors the global scale of the tournament itself, the first-ever World Cup hosted across three nations: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Bocelli said of the collaboration: "Football has been in my life for as long as I can remember, and will always hold a very special place in my heart. To be invited to sing the anthem of the FIFA World Cup and to participate in the opening ceremony is an honor that moves me deeply."
Today, June 11, Bocelli and EJAE will perform "DNA" live for the very first time at the Opening Ceremony at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, ahead of the Mexico vs. South Africa opening match. The ceremony is set to begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET.
For fans of faith, Bocelli's presence in yet another global ceremony is no surprise - the devout Catholic has long spoken of music as his calling rather than his career, and his voice has graced moments of international unity from the Olympics to the Vatican.
