Natalie Grant is trading the concert stage for the football field-and she is stepping into one of the most emotionally charged performances of the Tennessee Titans' season.
The five-time GMA Dove Award winner announced that she will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" when the Titans face the New York Jets on Sunday, September 13, at Nashville's Nissan Stadium. The game will open the Titans' 2026 season and air live on CBS.
"Nashville, I'll see you Sunday," Grant teased on social media before revealing her prestigious assignment.
"What an honor to sing our National Anthem as the Titans kick off their season at Nissan Stadium," the Christian music powerhouse wrote. "And coming just two days after the 25th anniversary of September 11th, the words of this anthem carry an even deeper weight."
That timing transforms Grant's appearance into far more than another glamorous celebrity moment before kickoff. Her performance will come during a weekend of national remembrance, 25 years after the September 11 terrorist attacks claimed nearly 3,000 lives and permanently changed the United States.
"Grateful for the privilege of singing them-and deeply aware of what a gift it is to call this country home," Grant added.
