Bunnie Xo still hopes to welcome a child, but she is leaving questions about having a baby with ex-husband Jelly Roll unanswered.
During the November 4 episode of Chrisley Confessions 2.0, the Dumb Blonde podcast host spoke with Todd and Julie Chrisley about motherhood, her readiness to become a parent and the future following her divorce.
Asked whether she and Jelly Roll still intended to have a child together, Bunnie offered a brief response: "All I can say to that is, 'To be continued.'" Her answer left those plans unresolved, although she remained clear about her desire to become a mother.
The update follows earlier comments in which Bunnie said their separation would not end their efforts to welcome a baby. Before divorcing, the pair had pursued in vitro fertilization and surrogacy. Bunnie also revealed in her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, that they had selected a surrogate.
Now 46, Bunnie explained that she feels better prepared for parenthood than she did in her younger years. Looking back on her twenties and thirties, she acknowledged that her personal struggles would have made raising a child difficult. She said her current financial security and clearer sense of what she wants have changed how she sees that responsibility.
Bunnie already shares a close family bond with Jelly Roll's daughter, Bailee Ann, whom they helped raise together. Both have publicly described their relationship as that of mother and daughter. Her hope of welcoming another child has remained part of her story through fertility treatment and changes in her personal life.
Although she continues to hope for a baby, Bunnie also expressed acceptance of an uncertain outcome. She told the Chrisleys that she believes becoming a parent later in life would suit her, while acknowledging that she can be at peace if it never happens.
