The Choir Room has released its new single, "Better Than This," featuring gospel legend Dorinda Clark-Cole, through Centricity Music. Led by three-time GRAMMY and two-time Dove Award-winning songwriter and producer Dwan Hill, the release follows the group's chart-topping collaboration "Love Never Fails (Featuring Fred Hammond)" and delivers an uplifting message of hope and faith.
Written by Hill, Clark-Cole, and Javier Ordenes, and produced by Hill, Ordenes, and Marcus Perry, the song was recorded during The Choir Room's May 18, 2026, gathering in Nashville.
Hill shared that the song originated from an idea Clark-Cole had begun developing more than 20 years ago. Their collaboration brings that vision to life, pairing her distinctive voice with The Choir Room's signature gospel sound. He hopes the song will encourage listeners to hold on to their faith and trust that better days are ahead.

Beyond the new single, The Choir Room is preparing for several upcoming gatherings, including its next Nashville event on November 16, 2026, at Harken Hall in Madison, Tennessee.
The organization will also bring its CHOIR ROOM EXPERIENCE to New York City from February 19-22, 2027. A major highlight will be a February 21 performance at the iconic Carnegie Hall, led by Dwan Hill, Fred Hammond, and Brooke Ligertwood.
Singers from across the country are already registering to participate in the three-day experience, which will include an opportunity to join the onstage choir. Registration and event details are available through True North Presents.

Since its founding in May 2022, The Choir Room has grown into a community of more than 5,000 singers and musicians, with over 400 people attending its monthly gatherings. The nonprofit brings together people across racial, generational, economic, and denominational backgrounds, creating a welcoming space where everyone has a voice.
Its 11-song debut album, Love Never Fails, released in 2025, featured artists including nobigdyl., Emoni Wilkins, DeMarco Johnson, San Franklin, and Leeland Mooring. The album's title track reached No. 1 on both the Mediabase and Billboard Gospel Airplay charts.
Through collaborations with artists such as Brandon Lake, Jelly Roll, Fred Hammond, Chris Tomlin, Brooke Ligertwood, We The Kingdom, and Forrest Frank, The Choir Room continues to bring diverse voices together through gospel music, worship, and community outreach.
