"7th Heaven" actor Jeremy London says he is not homeless, clarifying a social media post that sparked widespread reports about his job and housing. London said he owns a condo in Florida and that his earlier message was about uncertainty over his job in Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, Nov. 5, London wrote on X that he might be losing his job and home, and asked followers to reach out if they knew of a job and a place for him. People magazine reported on the post Friday. Many fans replied with job leads and offers of a place to stay.

After the coverage, London wrote on X that he has a condo in Florida and that headlines made him look homeless. In comments on another outlet's post about the story, he said the situation was "blown out of proportion." He added that he had been working at a tree service business in Pennsylvania and did not want to leave. London also apologized for unclear wording and deleted the original post. Entertainment Weekly reported that he said he would be shooting a movie soon.

London played junior minister Chandler Hampton in seasons 7 and 8 of "7th Heaven," the long-running family drama about a minister's family. He is also known for "Party of Five" and "Mallrats," and he is the twin brother of actor Jason London.

For many viewers of a show built around faith, family and compassion, the fan response to his post felt familiar.

Supporters have been keeping him in their thoughts and prayers as he moves on to his next project.
