Podcast hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie "Pumps" Sullivan have apologized for laughing at a joke about the late Charlie Kirk on their show I've Had It, after at least one sponsor ended its relationship with the podcast.
The moment came on the Thursday, Nov. 5, episode, when the hosts read social media posts reacting to the midterm elections. One post made a joke about digging up Kirk's body and killing him again. Both hosts laughed, and Welch can be heard saying "no comment," according to TheWrap.
In a statement posted to the podcast's Instagram on Saturday, the hosts wrote, "It was an insensitive joke, and we should not have laughed." They said they regret it and apologized, and they added that they have long supported gun safety reform.
The segment has since been removed from the episode on YouTube and Spotify, according to HuffPost, though clips are still circulating on social media. Cash App said it is no longer a sponsor of the podcast, writing that it does not condone violence of any kind. TheWrap reports that Chewy also cut ties, amid calls from Kirk's supporters to boycott the show.
Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, often spoke publicly about his Christian faith. He died in September 2025 after he was fatally shot while speaking at a college event in Utah County, Utah. His widow, Erika Kirk, now leads the organization.
