Mission Impossible 5: Movie Cast and Release Date Confirmed
Agent Ethan Hunt is coming back for yet another action-packed spy mission in Mission Impossible 5, and is ready to hit the big screens on December 25, 2015. The upcoming movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and written by Drew Pearce and Will Staples.
Luckily, we will see more of our favorite cast members, as Tom Cruise is reuniting with his Mission Impossible co-stars Jeremy Renner (as agent William Brandt), Simon Pegg (as Benji Dunn, the gadget expert), and Ving Rhames (as Luther Stickell, the rogue hacker) in the upcoming new movie.
Also, we will see actress Rebecca Ferguson as the lead female character, Alec Baldwin as the head of the CIA, and Sean Harris as the main antagonist in the upcoming movie. Unfortunately, we might not see the "Jane Carter" of Hunt's team, as in the previous Mission Impossible film. Actress Paula Patton, who plays Jane Carter, hasn't said anything yet about coming back for the upcoming fifth movie.
Christopher McQuarrie, who is directing the fifth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise, was asked, "What it's like working on a Mission Impossible film?" The director's response was, "I'm the luckiest drowning man alive".
The previous movie, Ghost Protocol, was the highest-grossing Mission Impossible film to date. The entire franchise has an 18-year history, and is recognized as one of the most successful movie franchises in Hollywood history.
Keep yourself posted for more Mission Impossible 5 updates, as Paramount Pictures has officially set the movie's release date to December 25, 2015.
