'Days of Our Lives' Season 7 New Updates: EJ Taped His Final Episode, Afterwards Sami His Wife Will Follow
The NBC's daytime soap opera 'Days of our Lives' gives out its teaser for its seventh season.
According to Enstarz.com, the power couple of Salem is set to say their final words for good this season. However, upon parting ways, one of them will leave the town no longer breathing.
The betrayal of EJ to Stefano created a whirlwind on his life that resulted of him being disowned by his loved ones. Upon submitting physical evidence to the police in connection to his father, he was used to being protected by DiMera bodyguards until the betrayal happened. After the quarrel with Clyde (James Reed) in their park about their business going down, his life was put in serious danger.
Sami, EJ's wife, played by Allison Sweeney, was trying to find him at the other side of the park so the two of them could go to a party when she heard a loud, audible gun shot that caused caused her to be hysterical to the point that she was calling her husband's name. Upon realizing the events, she heads towards the point of the loud gunshot to find her husband lying on the ground, lifeless.
EJ's character is set to exit the series sometime in October. James Scott's (EJ) final taping was shot last May 2. It is still unconfirmed if his character will return in the future episodes.
On the other hand, Alison Sweeney openly announced her intention of leaving the "Days of our Lives" series during a guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," after 21 long years. It was expected that her final appearance will be shown sometime in November but told the fans as well that she would still come back for some special and holiday episodes.
Based on her interview, "Complex reason, is all I have in leaving the show, I want to explore and learn new things." The details about the exit are still unknown but fans are already weeping about the announcement.
Catch "Days of Our Lives" week days at 1pm on NBC.
