Sarah Kroger Teams Up with Matt Maher for "Unbroken Family"
Sarah Kroger has teamed up with Matt Maher for her brand new Integrity Music single "Unbroken Family." This new song was written in 2018 as a batch of sexual scandals in the Catholic church surfaced.
"We were hurt, angry, and confused. We wrote this song because we needed to sing it. We wrote it as an honest prayer for a reality that we believed was possible: that we would be a part of an unbroken family," Sarah explains.
Dare we dream that God can restore all things and make them new? Dare we dream that we could be an unbroken family? Colossians 1 says: "In Him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church... For in him all the fullness was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile all things for him, making peace by the blood of his cross." Rather than believe we are broken and everything we touch will break, we can believe that God is making us whole. Even more, He wants to use us to bring wholeness and restoration to the people we meet and walk with.
Nothing can separate us now
Reunited
There is no height, no depth
There's nothing else
That we could be
An unbroken family
Oh that we could be
Your unbroken family
