Ted Keith Shares the Heart Behind His 7th Single "One Thing"
Worship leader and songwriter Ted Keith releases his single "One Thing" (feat. Melanie Elms), a goregous worship song based on Psalm 27. This song is the seventh release from his upcoming album that will be released later in the spring.
Keith writes,"This song is based on David's words in Psalm 27 ... one of my favorite scriptures. I love when songs are written that quote the Bible word for word. There's nothing more powerful or beautiful than singing scripture.
"I was so excited to have Melanie Elms lend her powerful voice to this song. Melanie is a recording artist and incredible songwriter. You can find her worship project 'Blessed' on all major streaming services. David and Melanie Elms pastor the Cathedral of Pentecost in Davie, FL. All of the choir vocalists on my project are members of the Cathedral's awesome music team.
"My final studio session for the upcoming project was finished last week. The team at Vanquish Studios will be working over the next couple months to finish mixing and mastering ahead of the full release later this spring."
Keith was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. He attended Indiana Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (Major in Theology/Minor in Worship Studies). He began directing a youth choir at his home church at the age of 17 and has been involved in music ministry for over 20 years. Keith, his wife Carina, and son Jackson now live in West Tennessee and attend The River UPC in Parsons, Pastor Ron Wofford.
Keith is passionate about worship music. He loves leading worship, teaching vocals and directing choirs. He has written a number of songs over the last 15 years and is excited to be working with Vanquish Studio to get his songs produced. Keith is launching his ministry, Ted Keith Music, with plans to continue producing new music in the coming years. He looks forward to striving for continual growth as a singer/songwriter and can't wait share his music with churches, teams and choirs across our fellowship.
