Tom Holland has confirmed that he and Zendaya are married, ending months of speculation that began when her stylist let the news slip on a red carpet earlier this year.

In a new cover interview with Esquire UK, Holland was asked about AI-generated photos that circulated online appearing to show the couple's wedding in Italy, complete with fabricated images of friends and family in attendance.

Asked whether he'd had to reassure relatives the photos weren't real, Holland replied simply, "No, because they were all there" a quiet but clear confirmation that the wedding actually happened.

Rumors first picked up steam in March, when Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, told Access Hollywood on a red carpet that "the wedding has already happened," adding, "It's very true." Zendaya herself sidestepped the question publicly but later joked with Jimmy Kimmel that the viral AI wedding photos weren't real, even as friends and acquaintances kept congratulating her on them.

Holland and Zendaya met in 2017 while filming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and went public with their relationship in 2021. Their engagement was confirmed in early 2025 after Zendaya was spotted at the Golden Globes wearing a diamond ring.

The pair is currently promoting two new projects together, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" and Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," and made a rare joint red carpet appearance in Madrid this week.

For a couple that built a career in the public eye, Holland and Zendaya have kept their actual relationship remarkably private for nearly a decade - a kind of quiet steadfastness that many faith traditions would recognize as the right foundation for a marriage, long before any headline confirms it.
