Anne Wilson has released "Me & Jesus," a new song written in the wake of losing her close friend Carly, who died at age 22. The track arrives as part of Wilson's Stars (Blue Hour Deluxe), a 17-track expanded edition of her 2025 album Stars, released Friday, July 10, via Capitol Christian Music Group.

Carly had become a familiar presence on Wilson's tours, ministering to the singer's "Hey Girl Nation" fanbase before her death. "Me & Jesus" reflects that grief with unusual honesty, with Wilson admitting in the lyrics that she doesn't always know what to say to God amid the pain, while still affirming that her relationship with Jesus remains her steadying presence through the loss.

In a message to fans announcing the release, Wilson wrote, "This song is a reminder that no matter what you're walking through, you're never walking through it alone. Jesus has been faithful through every high and every low, and I pray this song reminds you He's right there beside you too."

The deluxe edition also includes "Maker's Mark," Wilson's previously released duet with Drew Baldridge, along with the Cole Swindell collaboration "Still Do," an acoustic version of "Carry Me," and a live recording of "God Story." Wilson, a Grammy nominee and Platinum-certified artist with more than 2 billion career streams, continues her Stars Tour through the summer, with stops planned across the U.S. before heading to the UK for Big Church Festival and Long Road Festival.
