Prosecutor Claims Videos Of KJ Biermann, 15, With Underage Family Member Were Found On His Phone

The criminal case involving Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's 15-year-old son has taken an even darker turn after a prosecutor revealed disturbing new allegations during his bond hearing.

Fulton County prosecutor Caitlin McGillicuddy reportedly told the court that investigators found multiple videos on Kroy "KJ" Biermann Jr.'s phone allegedly showing sexual activity involving a female family member younger than 12. The prosecutor further claimed that the recordings captured KJ using language she characterized as predatory and degrading.

McGillicuddy said KJ had already been under court supervision since October 2025 in connection with the alleged incident involving the relative. The revelation emerged as prosecutors argued that the teenager should remain detained over an entirely separate case involving a female classmate. People reported that representatives for KJ and his parents did not immediately respond to its requests for comment about the new claims.

KJ was indicted on September 3 on seven felony counts stemming from an alleged April 23, 2026, encounter at an Alpharetta, Georgia, fitness center. The charges include aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child younger than 16.

The alleged victim reportedly told the court that she feared for her safety if KJ were released. Prosecutors also alleged that she suffered a documented physical injury. KJ's attorney, Jason Sheffield, has strongly disputed the accusations and said his client intends to plead not guilty at his October 14 arraignment.

In a dramatic development following the hearing, a judge reportedly granted KJ bond and released him from youth detention despite the prosecution's objections. He had been held at Atlanta's Metro Regional Youth Detention Center since his August arrest. Page Six reported the release after its earlier coverage of the prosecutor's cellphone allegations.

The defense is also seeking to have the case transferred from adult court to juvenile court. Sheffield has argued that KJ's age and maturity should be considered, particularly because convictions on the aggravated charges could expose him to a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years without parole if he is prosecuted as an adult.

Kim Zolciak has publicly defended her son, calling the allegations reckless and troubling. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star said KJ categorically denies the accusations involving his classmate, passed a polygraph examination and was not linked to that alleged incident through male DNA evidence. A grand jury indictment, however, means the prosecution will move forward; it is not a finding of guilt.

Behind the famous family name is an exceptionally serious case involving multiple minors. As shocking claims continue to emerge, both the presumption of innocence and the protection and dignity of the alleged victims must remain central.
