The Batman Part II is currently set to open in theaters on Feb. 18, 2028, and Scarlett Johansson says her mystery role in the sequel was "tough." Here is what is confirmed.
In an Entertainment Tonight interview published Wednesday, Johansson was asked which of her upcoming roles pushed her furthest out of her comfort zone, The Exorcist: Martyrs or The Batman Part II, and she picked the Batman role. She said it gave her "existential angst," and that she could not tell whether the challenge came from the role itself or from where she was in life. She made the comments while promoting Paper Tiger, which opens Nov. 13.
Who is Scarlett Johansson playing in The Batman Part II? That has not been revealed. Director Matt Reeves confirmed her casting in May, and DC Studios has kept her scenes and the story under wraps.
What else is confirmed about the movie? Robert Pattinson returns as Bruce Wayne, with Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis and Sebastian Stan in the cast. Pattinson recently said the film is "almost done."
