Award-winning author, speaker, TV host, and Billy Graham Rapid Response Team Chaplain Coordinator Ginger Sanders is preparing to release her new book, Don't Worry About It: Reflections on Living Abundantly, arriving Fall 2026 from Abundance Books. Known for her years on the front lines of crisis ministry and her engaging storytelling style, Sanders brings together a lifetime of personal experiences and faith-driven insights in what she describes as "a book I lived."

In Don't Worry About It, Sanders weaves together heartfelt family stories, moments of unexpected grace, and powerful reflections shaped by both joy and tragedy. Drawing from seasons of loss, adoption, and ministry in the midst of disaster, the book invites readers to move beyond anxiety and embrace a deeper trust in God's plan-even when life feels uncertain.

Blending devotional warmth with real-life testimony, Sanders offers a message rooted in peace and perspective, reminding readers that true abundance is not found in a trouble-free life, but in a heart anchored in faith. Through each chapter, she encourages a shift from fear to trust, pointing to a life defined not by circumstances, but by the steady presence of God.

Q: You've worn many hats-author, speaker, TV host, and chaplain. How have these different roles shaped the message behind Don't Worry About It?
Ginger: Every hat I've worn has just been a different front-row seat to God's faithfulness. My time as a chaplain taught me that peace isn't a luxury; it's a survival strategy in the middle of a crisis. Being a TV host taught me how to take a deep spiritual truth and bridge it to someone sitting on their couch at home.

Now, as an author, I've distilled all those "boots on the ground" lessons into Don't Worry About It. It's my way of saying: "I've seen the wreckage, and I've seen the miracles. I promise you-God's got the plan already in place, so you can finally let go of the weight."

Q: You describe this new book as "a book you lived." What were some of the most defining life moments that became the foundation for these reflections?
Ginger: This book was forged in the moments where I had no choice but to trust. I lived it as an eighteen-year-old bride sitting by my dying mother's bedside, wondering how I'd face a future without her. I lived it again years later, pacing a cold room at O'Hare airport, terrified as the plane carrying our adopted daughter from Korea was delayed by engine trouble.

Those midnight phone calls and snowy drives taught me that God's plan is already in place, even when we can't see the landing strip. Don't Worry About It is the distilled essence of every tear I've cried and every miracle I've witnessed.

Q: Your work with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team has placed you in the midst of profound tragedy. How have those experiences influenced your understanding of "living abundantly"?
Ginger: Standing in the rubble of a disaster changes your perspective instantly. It taught me that "living abundantly" has nothing to do with what you own and everything to do with who you belong to.

I've seen families lose every physical possession, yet still possess a peace that made them the "wealthiest" people in the room. It showed me that abundance isn't a life without storms; it's a life where the Anchor holds. That is the heartbeat of this book-finding the treasure that tragedy cannot touch.

Q: Your previous book Fireflies addressed grief for children. How does Don't Worry About It continue or expand that conversation for a broader audience?
Ginger: While Fireflies was about helping a child find their way through the dark, Don't Worry About It is about showing the rest of us how to live in the Light that follows.

Grief doesn't have an age limit, but our response to it can evolve. Fireflies was the "first aid" for a broken heart; this new book is a directional tool for an abundant life. It expands the conversation from "How do I survive this loss?" to "How do I trust God?" with my entire future. It's about moving from the sting of the what-was to the peace of the what-is.

Q: You mention that we live in a culture of high anxiety. What practical spiritual shifts do you hope readers will take away from this book?
Ginger: I want readers to shift from what-if to even-if-trusting that even if the worst happens, God is already there. By moving from control to connection, we stop trying to pilot our own lives and finally hear the still, small voice that offers real peace in the storm.

Q: Looking ahead, how do you hope Don't Worry About It will impact readers' lives and shape the next season of your ministry and writing?
Ginger: I hope this book helps readers trade their anxiety for an even-if faith, knowing that God is already in their future. For my ministry, this marks a shift from "responding to crisis" to building a foundation of peace.

I want my next season of writing to be a roadmap for anyone ready to stop surviving the storm and start living the abundant life God promised.
