Acclaimed songwriter David Frazier returns with a powerful new single, "Finish With The Victory," a soul-stirring anthem that blends traditional Gospel roots with a vibrant New Orleans-inspired sound, delivering a timely message of perseverance, faith, and triumph. Featuring guest vocalists Pastor Johnny Brown and Crai'Sean George, the song captures Frazier's signature ability to craft music that resonates across generations, reminding listeners that no matter the challenges they face, the journey does not end in struggle-but in victory.

Widely respected as one of Gospel music's most influential songwriters, Frazier is the creative force behind some of the genre's most enduring songs, including "I Need You To Survive," "Favor," "Be A Worshiper," and "Show Yourself Mighty." His work has been recorded by leading voices across Gospel music and continues to shape worship experiences in churches around the world, solidifying his legacy as a writer whose music bridges generations and inspires faith communities globally.

Q: For those who may be discovering your work for the first time, how would you describe your journey as a songwriter and what continues to drive your passion for Gospel music?

I'm purely driven by the call to music ministry. Understanding what you are called to do eliminates confusion and you are a pushed as a person to learn everything about the craft and particularly study those have done it exceptionally well modeling those examples.

Q: Your new single "Finish With The Victory" carries a powerful message of perseverance-what personal season or experience gave birth to this song?

Everyone starts well on their goals and dreams but very few finish and the ones who do finish are just happy they survived. I wanted to encourage everyone to finish on top all the things God has begun in their lives.

Q: You mentioned reminding yourself that "the story doesn't end in struggle"-how has that truth shaped your faith and creative process?

After over 30 years of music ministry and life, I can truly say that continuing to develop and grow shapes the efficiency of everything around you.

Q: The song blends traditional Gospel choir roots with a New Orleans-inspired sound-why was it important for you to lean into that "old school choir" feel in this season?

There's been a lot of recent debate surrounding the "choir" in local churches. I just wanted to reiterate the fact that choirs are here to stay until we get to glory. Let's embrace all presentations of the Gospel locally and abroad.

Q: You've written songs that have become staples in churches worldwide-what do you believe makes a song truly resonate across generations and congregations?

I live by the 4 S's Rule for songwriting. A great song is: Singable, Spiritual, Sensible and Synergistic. A song sings, a song sends, a song secures, and, a song syncs others.

Q: With upcoming appearances like Gospel Week in Madrid and new songs on the horizon, what can listeners expect next from you in 2026 and beyond?

I am currently finishing new music for Dr. E. Dewey Smith and his church House of Hope in Atlanta. I am also going to start a seasonal project entitled: Psalms Hymns & Spiritual Songs - The First Advent, with songs for special holidays like Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving.
