Quinton Aaron is sharing a deeply personal account of survival and faith after a life-threatening medical emergency left him in a coma for four days.
Aaron, widely recognized for his role as Michael Oher in The Blind Side, revealed that he spent nearly three months hospitalized after suffering a spinal stroke-reportedly caused by an infection that began in his foot and spread through his bloodstream.
The actor recalled that his final memory before losing consciousness was lying in an emergency room. What followed, he says, was a series of critical moments in which he "coded" multiple times-requiring medical teams to revive him.
Upon awakening, Aaron came to understand the severity of what had occurred. But it was what he experienced during those four days that has since captured widespread attention.
"I saw Jesus," Aaron said, describing what he believes was a vivid, tangible encounter during his time in the coma.
According to Aaron, he saw Jesus from a side profile-wearing a white robe, with long white hair, and surrounded by a radiant, golden glow. He described a moment in which Jesus approached him and placed His hands directly on the area of his back where he had been experiencing intense pain.
"I felt all the pain go away," Aaron said. "Even now, I can still feel His hands as if they're there."
Moments later, he regained consciousness.
While near-death experiences remain a subject of ongoing medical and spiritual discussion, Aaron's testimony stands out for its clarity and emotional weight-merging a critical health crisis with what he describes as a moment of divine intervention and healing.
Now on the road to recovery, Aaron is reflecting on the experience as both a second chance and a spiritual milestone-one that continues to shape how he understands life, suffering, and faith.
As his story circulates, it is resonating across audiences who see in it a powerful intersection of survival, testimony, and belief.
