After nearly four decades on the world's most prestigious stages, Kevin Williams is returning to where it all began - not for a tour stop, but for a purpose.
On Saturday, April 25 at 6:00 PM CST, Williams will headline a free benefit concert at First Baptist Church in Russell Springs, Kentucky, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. The evening will support Kevin's Kids, the nonprofit he founded in 2014, which has raised more than $700,000 to serve children in need across Kentucky.
An offering will be received during the event.
More than a concert, the night brings together an exceptional lineup, including Bradley Walker, Andy Leftwich, Larry Beasley, Matthew Holt, Michael Shade Rowsey, the Crossroads Quartet, and a community choir - creating an atmosphere that blends world-class musicianship with hometown heart.
For Williams, Russell Springs is not just a stop on the map - it is the foundation of everything.
Best known for his 34-year tenure with Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band, Williams has become a defining presence in gospel music as a guitarist, bandleader, and comedian. His career spans iconic venues including Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, the Sydney Opera House, and London's Royal Festival Hall, with performances across all 50 states and 18 countries.
Behind the scenes, his influence runs even deeper. As a session guitarist and producer, Williams has contributed to more than 3,000 recording projects - including over 120 gold and platinum albums - working with artists such as Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, George Jones, Paul Simon, Sandi Patty, and Ronnie Milsap.
His achievements have been widely recognized - from his induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame to being named a Kentucky Colonel - but his most meaningful work may be happening offstage.
Through Kevin's Kids, Williams has turned his lifelong calling into direct impact, helping provide resources and opportunities to hundreds of children each year.
