The Grand Ole Opry House will host visitation and funeral services for longtime WSM Radio host Bill Cody, born Trent Barry Clutts, on Monday, June 15, WSM Radio announced this week.

Visitation will run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Opry House auditorium. Family, friends, colleagues, and fans are invited to gather and pay their respects to a man who spent more than three decades as a familiar voice across Nashville's country music community.

In tribute to Cody's impact, the Opry and WSM Radio will present special programming throughout the day, with the funeral service broadcast live on WSM Radio 650 AM and streamed on WSM's Facebook page, allowing fans across the country and around the world to join in remembrance.

Cody, who hosted Coffee, Country & Cody and served as a longtime Opry announcer, passed away earlier this week at 67. In the days since, tributes have poured in from across the country music world, including Christian and Southern Gospel artists like Jason Crabb, who credited Cody with making countless performers feel at home on the Opry stage.

WSM Radio described Cody as a broadcaster, storyteller, and steadfast ambassador of country music, noting his legacy will be honored in the very place he helped define for generations of artists and fans.

As the Nashville community prepares to gather Monday, many are leaning on faith and fellowship to carry them through - a reminder that even in grief, community and shared remembrance can be a source of comfort and hope.
