Caleb & John are about to trade their infectious Christian pop sound for one of country music's most sacred stages-and the fast-rising duo can hardly believe it is happening.
Caleb Crino and John Secker have announced that they will make their Grand Ole Opry debut on October 10 at 7 p.m. The booking comes only three years after they released their debut radio single, "Hallelujah Feeling," making their journey to the famous Opry circle remarkably swift.
"WELP... WE'RE MAKING OUR GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT," the visibly overwhelmed duo announced on social media. "Never thought we'd get to type those words. We are so grateful, so excited, and probably going to lose our minds when we step into that circle."
They finished the announcement with the kind of unfiltered enthusiasm fans have come to expect: "CALEB & JOHN AT THE OPRY!!!! LET'S GOOOOO!!!!"
The Grand Ole Opry's official schedule confirms that Caleb & John will make their debut during the institution's historic centennial year. The October 10 Opry 100 program will also feature celebrated singer-songwriter Steve Earle, Clayton Nile Young and comedian Gary Mule Deer, with additional performers still to be announced.
Standing inside the Opry's wooden circle is more than another performance opportunity. The circle was taken from the stage of Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and installed at the Grand Ole Opry House, symbolically connecting new performers with generations of country and gospel legends who came before them.
For Caleb & John, the invitation marks another unexpected step in a career that has moved at dizzying speed. The two musicians did not grow up together or spend years attempting to break into the industry as a duo. They met through a mutual friend in late 2022, discovered an immediate musical chemistry and signed with Fair Trade Services only months later.
Their personalities and musical backgrounds seemed almost designed to collide. Crino, a pastor's son who grew up listening to Christian radio, studied piano and eventually moved to Nashville. Secker, one of six children and the only boy among five sisters, taught himself to play guitar and piano by watching YouTube videos.

The debut did more than get their feet through the industry's door. "Hallelujah Feeling" became the highest-charting debut single sent to Christian radio in 2023, giving Caleb & John early evidence that their joyful sound was connecting with listeners.
Their biggest breakthrough followed with "Somebody Like Me," later rereleased with sibling trio CAIN. The song climbed to No. 1 on Christian radio in 2024, giving Caleb & John their first chart-topper and transforming them from promising newcomers into one of Christian music's most closely watched young acts.
"Somebody Like Me" centers on a simple but deeply personal Christian truth: God can use imperfect, unlikely people. Its mixture of confession, encouragement and irresistible pop energy captured the spirit of a duo that has never tried to hide its excitement about faith.
