The investigation surrounding Hayden Panettiere's tragic death has taken another disturbing turn, with former neighbors claiming that three suspicious visitors regularly appeared at the actress's West Hollywood condo for years.
Residents reportedly told TMZ that two young women and one man frequently visited Panettiere's home between 2021 and the week before her death. Although the neighbors allegedly suspected that the trio was delivering drugs, their identities and activities have not been confirmed by authorities.
One neighbor claimed the male visitor made his final appearance approximately one week before Panettiere died. He was allegedly carrying a bag bearing the name "Brian"-the first name of the actress's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. However, there is no confirmation that the bag belonged to Hickerson or that the visitor had any connection to him.
The claims emerged as law enforcement sources reportedly told TMZ that investigators believe Panettiere swallowed what she thought was an oxycodone pill on the morning of her death. Authorities reportedly suspect that the pill contained fentanyl, although the official cause of death remains pending and toxicology results have not been publicly released.
Sources connected to the investigation further alleged that Panettiere had obtained black-market prescription medication from a longtime supplier in Los Angeles. The DEA is reportedly assisting local authorities as investigators attempt to trace the source of the suspected fatal pill.
Panettiere died in South Carolina on August 16 at age 36. Hickerson reportedly attempted to revive her with Narcan, an emergency medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, but she did not respond. A bag containing prescription medications was subsequently handed to first responders.
The neighbors' account now raises troubling questions about who had access to Panettiere during the years before her death-and whether the mysterious visitors may hold information that could help investigators identify the source of the suspected drugs.
